古典一筋
10歳より箏曲を始める。
萩原正吟（重要無形文化財記録保持者）に師事。最古の組歌（箏・三絃）・地歌・箏曲・胡弓の手付け法など全般習得。倭文会主宰（1972年結成）。萩原正吟を偲んで「地歌・箏曲の夕べ」を1985年より十回開催。「文月の会」を1991年より十八回開催。

Ｓａｉｔｏ Ｈａｒｕｋｏ （１９４７～）
Single-mindedly started the classic field of the koto when she was 10 years old under the late Hagiwara Seigin (1900~1970, a national treasure of Japan) and learned the Old Kumiuta (a traditional pattern of the sangen and the koto) as well as learned the Jiuta ( sangen songs) and Sokyoku (koto songs). Finally, she learned how to accompany them on the kokyu.(an instrument with 3 strings played by a bow) leader of “Shizu no kai” (1972~)
